| أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ {١} |
1. Did We not delight/expand your chest (innermost)? |
| وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ {٢} |
2. And We raised from you your sin/load/burden . |
| الَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ {٣} |
3. Which weighed heavily (on)/burdened your back. |
| وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ {٤} |
4. And We raised for you your memory/reputation . |
| فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا {٥} |
5. So that truly with the difficulty/hardship (is) ease/flexibility. |
| إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا {٦} |
6. That truly with the difficulty/hardship (is) ease/flexibility. |
| فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ {٧} |
7. So when/if you finished/ended/completed , so work hard/fatigue. |
| وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ {٨} |
8. And to your Lord, so wish/desire. |
