 |
| سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى {١} |
1. Praise/glorify your Lord`s name the highest/mightiest . |
| الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ {٢} |
2. Who created, so He straightened. |
| وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ {٣} |
3. And who predestined/evaluated , so He guided. |
| وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَىٰ {٤} |
4. And who brought out/made (to) emerge the pasture. |
| فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاءً أَحْوَىٰ {٥} |
5. So He made/created it rotten/spoiled (thin and dry) green/red with blackness. |
| سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنْسَىٰ {٦} |
6. We will make you read, so do not forget. |
| إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ {٧} |
7. Except what God willed/wanted/intended, that He truly knows the declared/publicized and what hides. |
| وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ {٨} |
8. And We ease you to the ease/prosperity. |
| فَذَكِّرْ إِنْ نَفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَىٰ {٩} |
9. So remind if the remembrance/reminder benefited. |
| سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَخْشَىٰ {١٠} |
10. Who fears will remember/praise/glorify . |
| وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى {١١} |
11. And the most miserable/unhappy avoids/distances himself from it. |
| الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَىٰ {١٢} |
12. Who roasts/suffers the fire , the greatest . |
| ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ {١٣} |
13. Then he does not die in it and nor live. |
| قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ {١٤} |
14. Who purified/corrected had succeeded/won. |
| وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّىٰ {١٥} |
15. And mentioned/remembered his Lord`s name, so he prayed. |
| بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا {١٦} |
16. But you prefer/choose the life the present/worldly life. |
| وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ {١٧} |
17. And the end (other life is) better and more lasting (everlasting). |
| إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَىٰ {١٨} |
18. That truly that (is) in (E) the written pages (Books/Scriptures) the first/beginning. |
| صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ {١٩} |
19. Abraham`s and Moses` written pages (Books/Scriptures). |
