| قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ {١} | 1. Say: "I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind, |
| مَلِكِ النَّاسِ {٢} | 2. "The Sovereign of humankind, |
| إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ {٣} | 3. "The Deity of humankind, |
| مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ {٤} | 4. "From the evil of the sneaking whisperer (the Satan), |
| الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ {٥} | 5. "Who whispers into the hearts of humankind, |
| مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ {٦} | 6. "Of the jinn and humankind." |
