| قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ {١} | 1. Say: "He, God, the Unique One of Absolute Unity. |
| اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ {٢} | 2. "God, the Eternally-Besought-of-All (Himself in no need of anything). |
| لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ {٣} | 3. "He begets not, nor is He begotten. |
| وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ {٤} | 4. "And comparable to Him there is none." |
