| أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ {١} |
1. Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? |
| فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ {٢} |
2. It is he who pusheth away the orphan, |
| وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ {٣} |
3. And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, |
| فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ {٤} |
4. Woe, therefore, Unto such performers of prayer. |
| الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ {٥} |
5. As are of their prayer careless. |
| الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ {٦} |
6. They who would be seen, |
| وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ {٧} |
7. And who withholds even common necessaries. |
