| لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ {١} | 1. (At least) for (God’s constant) favor of concord and security to the Quraysh, |
| إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ {٢} | 2. Their concord and security in their winter and summer journeys, |
| فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ {٣} | 3. Let them worship the Lord of this House (the Ka‘bah), |
| الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ {٤} | 4. Who has provided them with food against hunger, and made them safe from fear. |
