| وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ {١} |
1. Woe Unto every slanderer, traducer, |
| الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ {٢} |
2. Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. |
| يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ {٣} |
3. He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. |
| كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ {٤} |
4. By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. |
| وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ {٥} |
5. And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? |
| نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ {٦} |
6. Fire of Allah, Kindled, |
| الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ {٧} |
7. Which mounteth up to the hearts. |
| إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ {٨} |
8. Verily it shall close upon them, |
| فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ {٩} |
9. In pillars stretched forth. |
