| أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ {١} |
1. The multiplication distracted/diverted you . |
| حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ {٢} |
2. Until you visited the cemeteries/burial places . |
| كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ {٣} |
3. No but you will/shall know. |
| ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ {٤} |
4. Then no but you will/shall know. |
| كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ {٥} |
5. No but if you know knowledge (of) the assurance/certainty . |
| لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ {٦} |
6. You would see/understand (E) the Hell . |
| ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ {٧} |
7. Then you will see/understand it (with) the assurance`s/certainty`s eye (visually). |
| ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ {٨} |
8. Then (on) that day you will be asked/questioned (E) about the blessing/goodness . |
